Acer launches entry level Liquid Z6 and mid-range Liquid Z6 Plus
Let’s talk some liquid, shall we?
Acer has dropped two new smartphones and they have made sure that they have one for just everybody, with the first being a mid-rage offering while the second one caters to the mid-range market.
Following that order, Acer dropped a Liquid Z6 and another one that nearly uses the same name but indicates better specs – Liquid Z2 Plus. While we have no information about whether the phones would surface in the region of North America, it is sure that we would be seeing them launch in Europe, Africa and the Middle East regions.
As per timeline of launch in these regions, November and December are the dates that are being looked at. With the Z6 selling for €119 in Europe, and its bigger Z6 Plus selling for €249 in the same region.
The Z6 uses a screen of 5 inches and below the hood is a quad core MediaTek processor combining with the 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage memory with option for expansion. Made with plastic, the device has a camera of 8MP on the rear and 2MP upfront, all powered by the 2000mAh battery.
The Z6 Plus on the other hand uses a bigger 5.5-inch screen with an octa core processor from MediaTek likewise. It is powered by 3GB of RAM and has an expandable 32GB of internal storage space too, combining with a camera combo of 13MP/5MP. Running under the influence of its 4080mAh battery, both devices run the Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.
