Apple copied HTC, HTC copied Apple: welcome the HTC A9
When the iPhone 6 got unveiled in last year’s September, a quick glance at the back of the Apple flagship screams HTC One – it was clear that Apple had inadvertently (or consciously) made their new phone to look like one of their competitors’ and HTC didn’t hesitate to point out the blatant copy and paste.
Fast-forward to 2015, a lot has been discussed about HTC’s upcoming “hero” phone especially in the recent couple of weeks. With lots of hype come lots of expectation; we’ve been looking out to see how much cool the fore-claimed superhero smartphone will bring.
Welcome the HTC A9 (HTC Aero), this phone is out to dig HTC out of the dirt but we don’t understand if that’s the reason why it’s looking like an iPhone 6 clone. Oh well, it’s just an alleged leaked photograph and nothing else. The real thing might be different from what we’ve been shown now, so says our imagination.
No specs accompanied the purported HTC A9 live pictures but you’ll notice that the device has a 2.5D glass-built touchscreen by carefully studying the bottom right of the face. Asides that, nothing else is new for now.
According to popular tech leakstar Evan Blass, the HTC A9 could be released in early November, with US carrier Sprint being one of the networks who’ll offer the smartphone on retail.
