ASUS unwraps the new Zenpad 3 8.0, bears semblance to the ZenPad Z8
Back in the month of May, ASUS launched a ZenPad device that was to be exclusively carried on the Verizon network and for $149.99, you could have yourself one of that beauty on a two year contract or $100 for oitright purchase. You could also get the Snapdragon 650 chipset powered device for an installment plan of $10.41 monthly spread over 24 months if you are a regular with the Big Red.
Well, ASUS has now taken the wraps off another tablet that bears semblance to the ZenPad Z8 in many ways than one and it is named the ZenPad 3 8.0. For one, this new device has a 7.9 inches of screen and is run by the same Snapdragon 650 processor. Unlike the Z8 though, this one comes in two variants – one having 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB of internal memory space and the other going double at 4GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage.
Much like the Verizon’s Z8 though, the camera specifications on the ZenPad 3 8.0 remains an 8MP back camera and a 2MP front shooter. Overall, a 4680mAh battery co-ordinates the affairs of the smartphone
