Benchmark test reveals LeEco Le 2S to have 4GB RAM, use SD820, other leaks
Last week, we informed you when we came across some stunning specifications for the upcoming LeEco Le 2S and the things that we reported then were quite fascinating. Starting from the massive 8GB of RAM which if true, would mark the biggest we have seen so far since the current highest is just 4GB, the smartphone also wowed us with a promise at a QUALCOMM snapdragon 821 chipset but now, with a recent visit to a benchmark testing parameter, we might have just gotten excited over nothing.
For one, the benchmark deflated our bubbles and informed that the device would be using 4GB of RAM instead and have the available QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset running the affairs of the smartphone. Under the 5.5 inches of screen would then be the support for QUALCOMM’s Quick Charge technology, the availability of a Type CC USB port and the traditional 3.5mm jack. As regards the cameras, the front unit was created at 8MP and on the back is perfectly seated the 16MP unit.
Recall that some rumours had earlier suggested that both cameras would have the same configurations.
Asides from the visit to GeekBench, the device has obtained a certification from CCC which is compulsory for China-manufactured devices. As far as unveilings go, we expect this one anytime in the first week of September.
