Carrier leaks Nougat rollout date to the LG G5
LG has allowed the users of the G5 taste what it would be like to have their devise run on the latest Android dessert – the Nougat 7.0 – but while still remains just a preview program, they have offered no official information as to when they would be rolling out the update officially to the users of this smartphone.
Well, up until now because we now have some privileged information thanks to an Australian carrier that has given us a hint into when the rollout would commence.
From the official website of Optus, it has been listed that they are testing the Nougat update for their own devices and they would roll it out to the LG G5 customers that are registered to them at an uncertain date but in the middle of November.
That means that the G5 users just need sit tight for a month more from now to get their notifications. Since this is an information leaked by a carrier, we expect that those that bought their own G5 units unlocked would have the update faster.
