Gionee M2017 goes official, packs a massive 7000mAh battery
According to the calendar that the OEM has provided us with, Gionee has gone on to release their M2017 smartphone today. What we thought would just be a model number that would be changed as at the time of launch has now come to stay as the main name on the piece of hardware. The deice has a lot of stylish features built into it and the major seller here has to be the massive 7000mAh of battery, ensuring that you never run out of battery power.
Going to the other specs on this unit, we got to know that it runs a snapdragon 653 chipsets under the 5.7 inch of display. The resolution has been set at a mammoth 2560 x 1440, having a 6GB RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB available to choose from. Not only is a microSD card slot missing here (because, who needs that when you got this much space?) but they have also managed to lose the headphone jack.
The cameras sensors are decent with a dual 12MP and 13MP setup on the back and a further impressive 8MP up front. Running the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with the Amigo 3.5 on top and a fingerprint sensor on the rear, it is expected to sell for RMB 6999 (starting price, about $1010)
