Gionee outs the M2017 in new poster, promises unveiling on the 26th of December
Just last month, we saw a device from the stables of Gionee that crossed the TENAA platform where it got its certification and then, we got a naming of M2017 on it, something that we have written off as merely a model number or production name that would be changed as fast as they are ready for the actual launch of the unit. Well, this month is here now and the M2017 has finally been primed for launch under the name of, well, M2017.
While the new poster that they have released is very close to the first one that we have seen, Gionee has gone even one step further to gist us on this device as they have officially confirmed that they would be taking the veils off it on the 26th of December.
As regards the specs of the device, the only interesting thing about this piece of hardware is not only the interesting name but also, design that it offers. Under the 5.7 inch of screen is a 1.96GHz processor that is coupled to both a 6GB RAM and a maxxed out internal storage space at 128GB. The camera on the back is of a dual setup and it has both 12MP and 13MP sensors to pull images from and lastly, an 8MP shooter up front.
Expected to run the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box it would also pull power from a massive 7000mAh unit.
