Honor shares its Nougat plans for the Honor 8
While Huawei has already started its own rollout plans for the Nougat on some of its select devices, it is only right that its baby company – Honor – does the same too. Currently, the Huawei spinoff brand has announced its own calendar for releasing the Nougat to some devices for now and we know for sure when it would be getting to the Honor 8 units.
When the time is right, it is being planned that the Honor 8 would be updated with the latest user interface Huawei is developing, EMUI 5.0, and this would be based on the Android Nougat 7.0. Already, the beta testing programme for the Honor 8 is ongoing and users have been getting access to this since the end of last month.
The new EMUI is supposed to bring some kind of deep learning method with the artificial intelligence that is running on it, and this would make sur you get new optimisation options to get the best out of your device. The new power system would also pay off for you a lot as there are a bunch of power saving modes which would be introduced with it also.
For the users of the Honor 8, sorry for keeping you waiting, but the calendar starts that you would be getting the bump sometimes in February of next year.
