HTC One ME goes official for China
HTC’s widely-teased China-bound smartphone has finally gone official in Beijing today. Rocking a plastic body and physical home button, the One ME is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 chipset which has a 64-bit 2.2GHz octa-core CPU.
In terms of physical characteristics, the new HTC One ME arrives with an broad 5.2-inch IPS touchscreen with an ample 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) resolution. The phone further houses a 4MP front-facing camera and a 20-megapixel back shooter as it’s main camera.
Software-wise, the One ME runs on Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense user interface afloat, thanks to it’s 3GB RAM and adequate 32GB of expandable storage. The handset supports LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC as well as A-GPS and Wireless LAN.
The HTC One ME will hit the shelves in China later this month in gold, gray and gold sephia color flavors. There’s no word on the device’s pricing and international availability yet.
