HTC rolls out August security update to the One A9, HTC 10
If you happen to be a proud owner of any of these two HTC made devices we are soon to announce, you would be in a pretty good place now as regards security because the Asian OEM has started to rollout the Android security update for the month of August. The smartphones that are currently getting this boost are the HTC One A9 and the HTC 10.
For some models of the HTC smartphone, this is the first update that they would be getting since the month of June and as such, the security update for July has been mixed in with this one.
For now, the updates are sent to the unlike versions of both devices and according to the VP of the smartphone company, it would be an unrealistic thing to want to send such an update to the carrier models of the device.
If you use one of these devices, keep your mind at alert because you are bound to get your own notification anytime soon. If it doesn’t seem to be forthcoming, don’t worry because they are not sending everything out at once and you surely haven’t been forgotten.
