Huawei Mate 8 handled in leaked video
The two months of September and August 2015 are scheduled to witness the announcement of many big name mobile phones. Ranging from the newly announced OnePlus 2, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ will debut this month while we are also going to see the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus later next month.
To spice up the season, Huawei is going to throw a punch into the mix by the introduction of its 2015 phablet flagship. Via a teaser sent out in July, the phone maker says it will bring you “a taste of the flagship flagship” on September 2nd.
Yes, we are talking about no other than the Huawei Mate 8. The upcoming phablet was handled in an unofficial hands on video that was uploaded on YouTube yesterday.
Though the 18-second playback didn’t mention anything about the phone’s specs, rumor has it that Huawei Mate 8 will break cover with a massive 6-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) touchscreen display. In fact, if this turns out to be true, the Mate 8 will be the first Huawei phone with QHD resolution.
Other specs listed were a 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage alongside a Kirin 950 SoC, 20.7MP primary camera and front-facing 8MP primary camera.
With that being said, you can imagine how much of a beast the Mate 8 is turning out to be. We can’t wait till September 2nd to see things pan out on high definition!
