Alleged Huawei Nexus 6 pictured, reveals raised camera area
Having got several Android One smartphones rolling out with the help of affordable phone makers across Asia and Africa, Google, this year, is set to unleash two high-end Nexus smartphones for the more developed and smartphone-aware markets by the end of this year.
The first Nexus 6 phone will be manufactured by LG Electronics. The second, Huawei Nexus 6, comes right from the tech company’s stables in China and is expected to be the cheaper of the two.
Today, we laid our hands on alleged pictures of the Huawei-made Nexus. The device is said to be sporting a USB type-C connector and 5.7″ Quad HD screen (1,440 x 2,560 pixels), packed into a metal body which measures 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6 mm.
At 6.6mm thickness, the smartphone is undoubtedly very slim but thanks and no thanks to the raised camera area at the rear side, the thickness sharply shoots up to 8.5mm. Right below the camera and dual-tone LED flash, you can see the roundish module which looks like a fingerprint sensor.
For now, there’s no way to confirm the legitimacy of the pictures we’ve seen above. So until we have official confirmation, take everything you see here with a limited level of optimism.
