iPhone 7’s to ditch 3.5mm jack, could introduce bluetooth earbuds
Even if we are not so sure of any of the other specs that we might have read as concerns the upcoming iPhone 7 devices from Apple, we do know that the smartphone giant has plans to ditch the very popular 3.5mm headphone jack for a newer and more convenient one and from this fact comes the speculation as to what other audio features that they might be preparing for us.
So far, so good, we have heard reports of a possible introduction of lightning based earphones and we have even heard that Apple might wish to make the transition slow and gentle and for that, include an adapter to the 3.5mm jack for each iPhone module.
Well, another report has suggested that the device would be coming with its own custom Bluetooth radio chip that would be used as earbuds and this would have an edge over the various others in the market in the sense that they would have a very great battery life in a bid to stay ahead of competition and also, further convince users that a switch to a technology other than that provided by the 3.5mm jack is something worth their time.
September is just around the corner and by then, we would know what to believe and what to dump.
