Latest Oxygen update for the OnePlus 3 does more harm than good
Remember that we brought to you a news where we calmed down the users of the OnePlus 3 and told them that their manufacturer has already started to dispatch a hotfix for their auto-restart issues? Well, this might not be totally good news yet because it has been found out that the update could be bringing you more harm than good.
As great as the OnePlus is, its OEM has been facing a lot of issues since launch and been getting themselves in a series of hot water situations too on the issue of softwares and some hardware components and for this recent one, the update tags along with it new problems for the front camera which still has its autofocus problems unfixed, Doze doesn’t obey its order and breaks notifications and last but not least, the update cancels the activities of Android Pay.
Coming at 26MB, we do not expect that they fix these new bugs soon and you would have to wait patiently for the August security patch to get things done. If you are also experiencing problems with LTE call drops, blame it on the new Oxygen.
