LG G4 officially released in India, costs 51,000 rupees ($804)
LG’s biggest hit of 2015 has arrived the Indian airwaves. Today, LG Electronics India, officially launched and subsequently released the LG G4, the company’s current flagship smartphone.
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan (pictured left) was live at the launch ceremony to provide excitement to the members of the audience which included lucky customers who won invitations to the event after pre ordering the LG flagship days ago.
Speaking of pricing — the biggest aspect considered when buying a product — the G4 officially drags a whooping INR 51,000 aka $804 as its suggested retail pricing. Though this price is ridiculously high by standards of some users’ tweets targeted at the company’s Twitter social page after the announcement, we expect the cost to trend downwards in a few months time.
For the records, the LG G4 sports a phablet-sized 5.5-inch quad HD display, 16-megapixel optical image stabilized camera, a Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3000mAh user-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 for charging your device up to 60 percent in just 30 minutes.
