LG G4 rolls out to Hong Kong, Turkey, Russia and Singapore this week
LG’s current flagship device has began rolling out across the globe with Hong Kong, Turkey, Russia and Singapore becoming the latest markets to launch the leather-clad smartphone.
LG Electronics is hoping to release the G4 in “most of” Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America by the end of this year, an official press release stated.
“The LG G4 is our most ambitious smartphone yet because it is unlike any other flagship mobile phone on the market today,” said LG CEO Juno Cho.
“Our vision is to create our own set of standards without worrying about what trend other smartphones are following. We think we have a winning formula because the initial reaction to the G4 has been tremendously positive.”
Spec-wise, the G4 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16MP OIS main camera, 8MP secondary camera and a user-removable 3000mAh battery. The handset runs on Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop platform
