LG G6 sells a record unit on first day to become company’s first-day highest on flagships
The LG G6 is not a midrange nor is it an entry level smartphone. It is a flagship, and it takes to this tag in every sense of the word. Asides from the fact that it packs killer specs which are enough to kill any heavy user, this same unit is aso madly priced and for this kind of price range, not everyone can get it. However, that has not stopped this unit from selling well and if this kind of success is kept to, this might be the unit on which LG breaks even some more.
The LG G6 went on sale in South Korea yesterday and at the end of the sales day, they had already managed to sell a whopping 20,000 units of the Android handset. This is a greater feat when compared to the sales figure of the LG G5 on the first day, which managed to record 5,000 less than the current number on parade here. For those that are not aware, LG has received up to 40,000 orders for the G6 in South Korea alone.
This kind of sales is what they would be looking for in other markets, and they have plans to get it out too. For Israel, 22nd March is the day, while Australia still has to wait for the 28th of the same month.
