LG introduces dirt-cheap Tribute HD to be sold via Boost and Virgin Mobile
After the launch and introduction of the LG Tribute and LG Tribute 2 into the market, one would have been thinking of what would come after these ones and LG themselves have answered that question with the recent launch of the LG Tribute HD which made its debut yesterday and would be featured on the Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile networks.
While we are thinking that it would be exclusive to these two, it might be a temporary deal and other carriers could also get it listed soon.
As is constant with the phones that these two carriers list for sale, this is a very cheap device and we must also comment on the specs being rather unimpressive for this present time and technology, making the fact that it is very cheap its major selling point.
We would let you be the judge of this 5 inch device however and let you know that it packs with it 1.5GB of RAM and a meagre 8GB of internal storage space, coupled with a camera that has 8MP on the back and up front 5MP. It is being powered by the QUALCOMM snapdragon 212 chipset having 1.3GHz of clock speed and in all, draws power from a 2100mAh battery unit.
From Boost, the device would set you back $79.99 while Virgin’s is a little bit costlier at $99.99
