LG will ship 16 million smartphones this 2nd quarter
LG is said to be expecting to sail between 15 and 16 million smartphones during the second quarter of 2014, that will see a rise of up to 30% from sales in the previous quarter.
The sales numbers were aided with the introduction of the G3, LG’s latest flagship device that succeeded last year’s LG G2.
Meanwhile, the LG G3 is expected to be sold up to 12 million times during it’s lifetime, and that could be more given that the specs on the phone will see it compete with next year’s flagships, frankly speaking.
The LG G3 carries a 5.5-inch quad high definition display inside a relatively small body that leaves too much to wonder. The phone is powered by 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 801 processor though there are rumors of LG introducing a G3 with a Snapdragon 805 processor and probably 4GB of RAM.
