Meet the phone with 21-megapixel selfie camera
Yesterday, we told you about the “cameraless” ZTE smartphone we discovered in China. The ZTE S3003 is void of both front and rear-facing cameras and is bound to hit the market soon after it was certified by China authorities recently.
Today, we bring to you the Meitu V4, a device which directly positions itself as the opposite of the ZTE phone in terms of photography. The V4 was also certified and documented on the TEENA website but the listing shows that the handset will come with a whopping 21-megapixel rear camera as well as another 21-megapixel sensor up front.
Information available at the TEENA website suggests that the Android 5.1 Lollipop-running handset is packing a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, you’ll find a 2GHz octa-core CPU alongside 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The V4 is 8.95 mm thick and appears to have pink, white and green casing options.
No details were listed in regards to the pricing or launch date of Meitu V4, however, now that the device has gotten its approval, we imagine it wouldn’t be long before it makes a formal entry into the market.
Now, over to you readers: will you buy a smartphone with a 21-megapixel front camera?
