Microsoft Lumia 650 could be last 5-incher Lumia
To those that might have been thinking that the Microsoft Lumia 650 might carry an higher screen size like 5.5 inches, there is some bad news (or so, unconfirmed) that this device would be coming with a 5 inch screen. This is learnt from a tweet sent out by a tipster with the handle @sleaknow. Not only is this device supposedly going to carry 5 inch of screen, it would be the last 5-inch screen device that Microsoft would ever release under the Lumia name.
Last month alone, Microsoft released three devices into the market, two being high end smartphones while the last being a low tier device. The high ends from Microsoft that saw an October release are the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL while the released device for budget smartphone markets was the Lumia 550. Since the brand hasn’t released one for the mid-range market, Lumia 650 hopes to fill those shoes.
With no new specs out there, Lumia 650 is expected to be an upgrade over the mid-range Lumia 640 which has to itself a screen of size 5 inch and a resolution of 720 x 1280. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded by the user. The camera coupling from rear to front is 8MP and 0.9MP respectively.
