Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is doing better than earlier Surface Pro tabs
Microsoft, during it’s quarterly earnings call, revealed that the Surface Pro 3 is doing very well in sales and that the third generation tablet is doing better compared to what other Surface tabs had immediately after launch.
The Redmond, Washington-headquartered technology giant announced that $409 million of revenue was made from the Surface department during the last quarter of the 2013 fiscal year.
Though specific numbers numbers were not dished out for public consumption, Microsof’st Chief Financial Officer, Amy Hood, commented, “While it’s still early, sales are outpacing earlier versions of Surface Pro.”
Microsoft generated a total of $23.38 billion of revenue during the quarter with $4.6 billion coming in as net profit.
