Motorola launches Moto 360 smartwatch at $249.99
It’s official! The round-faced smartwatch made by United States manufacturer, Motorola, has been officially announced at the 2014 IFA, after month of speculation and leaks.
The Motorola Moto 360, designed to uphold “the timeless form of the classic wristwatch”, holds a 1.56″ 320 x 290 pixels screen covered in Corning’s Gorilla Glass and promises, as Motorola puts it, to get the information you want conveniently on your wrist.
Here are the specifications of the Moto 360 smartwatch:
- 1.56 inches touchscreen with 320 x 290 resolution (205PPI)
- 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM
- TI OMAP 3 CPU
- 320mAh battery with 12 hours battery life
- Wireless charging
- IP67-certified dust and water resistance
Now, the Moto 360 comes in three designs, sorry materials: Light stainless steel case with gray Horween leather band, Light stainless steel case with stone Horween leather band, and Dark stainless steel case with black Horween leather band.
The smartwatch will be compatible with all devices running on Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and higher. The watch also features a pedometer and an optical heart rate monitor.
