New leak shows what could be Meizu’s roadmap for 2017
If this new rumour that is coming out of China is on the money, what we are looking out could be the details of every single device to be launched by Meizu in the coming year. In a leaked document, there are claims that this contains the roadmap to all of the devices that Meizu looks to make for the market and launch in 2017. The detailed document shows us the months when each unit would be launched as well as the processors that would be used in all and sundry.
Assuming the report is true, the first launch should come in February and be named the M5S which would be running the MediaTek MT6753 chipset out of the box. The next launch date is set for June when they would be introducing a Meizu Pro 7 packed with an Helio X30 chipset. The next month is not free for the company as we get the Blue Charm S then with an Helio P25 under the hood.
Making a fourth appearance, and in the month of September too, is the MX7 coming with Helio P30 processors and the next month sees the launch of an Helio P20 powered M6 Note. To say bye to the highly productive year, a new member of the Blue Charm (or M) series would be announced, and it is supposed to use a Snapdragon 626 SoC under the hood.
