New leak suggests the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro would carry 4x optical lenses
We have been expecting the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro for a while now and every day that we spend waiting for the smartphone is like another day when we get to see a leak on the device.
If what we are hearing now is another true piece of information, then the devices would be making use of camera technologies that would support a very high end 4x optical zoom and if that turns out to be true, then we are in for more than we bargained for this year. Reports have likewise pointed put that the high end variant of the Mate 9 would cost a massive $1300.
While this kind of zoom cannot be implemented without a hump, all the images of the back panel of these devices that we have always seen is devoid of that and if we have been planning to even have the setup of the camera tech under the main camera lenses itself, it would be hard because that is where the fingerprint sensor has been placed.
In all, we would like to see how they hope to pull it off and if it is in actual fact, something to look forward to.
