NextBit Robin goes on sale, costs $399
When NextBit launched its Kickstarter campaign sometime ago, many would have undermined its ability to reach $1 million in funding let alone surpass that number. It then came as a surprise to many, and an huge boost for the company, when the NextBit surpassed that figure with their NextBit Robin smartphone. Right now, the company has announced that it is open to interested customers who would like to pre-order the phone ahead of its launch date.
Opening the pre-orders at just $399, this looks like somewhat of a bargain especially if you consider the fact that the device came unlocked and can be used with any carrier of your choice too.
Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU, the NextBit Robin also brings on deck some 3GB of RAM and as well, for your storage needs, a 32GB of internal memory. There’s a 13MP shooter for you to take all of your images from the rear and for your selfies, a 5MP shooter. The device then finally packs a 2670mAh of battery power.
International shipping costs apply to this device, ranging from $14 to a massive $117, depending on where you’re located. Looking to be churned out in February, don’t base your hope on this device for a Christmas gift.
