Nokia C5-00 Review
With a 3.2 Megapixel(5.0 Megapixel in the 5Mp edition) of camera that takes images upto the size 2048×1536 pixels, a powerful flashlight and 1.3Megapixel frontal camera for video calls and self-snaps, the Nokia C-5’s camera is quite an irony of the screen, with only a smallish 240×320 screen resolution display, 16million colors.
Talking of the display size, the Nokia C5-00’s small sized display helped the phone maintain a flat, sleek shape and general small size that earned the phone the name “World’s Simplest Smartphone”.
The phone runs on Symbian S60 verion 3 operating system, one of the most popular mobile OS in the world and this comes handy when looking for apps and games for your Nokia C5-00.
The Nokia C5-00 CPU, ranging from 192MHz to 600MHz according to region (and type) along with a RAM of 128MB makes a fast processing and performance for the phone with no hanging or glitches in operation while running multiple tasks.
Nokia C5-00 comes with a 65MB internal memory but supports storage of upto 16GB with the help of memory cards.
For connectivity, the phone is armed with Bluetooth v2.0, micro USBv2.0, GPRS, EDGE, HSPDA and WCDMA(3.5G). The phone does not support InfraRed connectivity which is not as important as the Wireless LAN(WIFI) connectivity the phone was also lacking.
The Nokia C5-00 battery is definitely something to write home about, with Nokia showing great attention to most of it’s mobile phones’ battery life. To cut things short, the Nokia C5-00 has a long battery life just as most Nokia phones have.
The phone measures 112 x 46 x 12.3 mm, 56cc volume, weighs 89.3 g and makes use of a classic keypad.
The Nokia C5-00 is a simple, yet complete smartphone that won’t break your bank.
Positive: Good battery, sleek design, powerful flash.
Negative: Small screen, absense of WIFI.
