Oppo N1 mini and Oppo R3 launched in China
Oppo has finally lifted the veils off it’s N1 mini smartphone, alongside another smartphone they call the Oppo R3.
The Oppo N1 mini comes with a 5-inch HD JDI display. The phone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ColorOS 1.4 theme afloat.
The phone has a 13MP camera that can rotate and serve as a front-facing camera which it borrowed from it’s bigger sibling, the Oppo N1.
The N1 mini is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 2GB of RAM with an Adreno 305 graphics processor. The phone has 16GB of native storage and there’s no space for memory cards.
In China, Oppo N1 Mini is priced at CNY2699 and will go on retail starting from next week.
The Oppo R3 is also a 5″ HD phone but comes with a lower 8MP camera with a 5MP front-facing camera.
The phone features the same 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU but comes with 1GB of RAM
The Oppo R3 features 8GB of storage but there’s space for memory card slot and this is a great plus one for the phone.
Oppo says that the R3 is the “world’s thinnest 4G handset” as the smartphone measures just 6.3 millimeters in thickness.
Pricing for the R3 was set at CNY2299 per unit and the phone will be available in two color options — black and white.
Both the Oppo N1 mini and the R3 are made for China and we don’t know if/when these smartphones will be global for the rest of the world.
