Prepare your money for Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets
Samsung has released a handful of tablets this year alone and the Koreans are not ready to stop at that.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is a premium line of tablets. A flagship kinda tablets. Something like Samsung Galaxy S5‘s lineage.
The tablets on the Galaxy Tab S series will feature fingerprint sensors. They will be the first Samsung tablets to do so.
The first set of the tablet will arrive in two sizes: Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (with a 8.4-inch display) with model number SM-T700 and SM-T705 for the Wi-Fi-only and LTE enabled variants respectively.
The other size department will be Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with 10.5 inches of display (SM-T800 for Wi-Fi and SM-T805 for LTE).
Apart from their screen sizes, both tablets will have pretty much the same specs:
Octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC (four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores)
6-core ARM Mali-T628 GPU with a clock speed of 533MH
3GB of 32-bit dual-channel 933 MHz LPDDR3e RAM
8MP camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and LED flash
2MP front-facing camera
Android 4.4.2 KitKat
There’s no precise date as for when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets will be announced, but we were told it’s anywhere within the second half of this year, which is fast-approaching.
