Purported Samsung J2 imported to India for R&D
India’s shipping monitoring agency, Zuaba, on their website listed a “sample” Samsung SM-J200F as being imported into the country from South Korean. The SM-J200F could turn out to become the rumored Samsung Galaxy J2, since existing J5 and J7 models are modeled as SM-J500F and SM-J700F respectively.
For the specs, Zuaba lists the Samsung J2 as having a 4.7-inch display but no other details were mentioned. The phone will cost around $100 as each of the 18 pieces that were on the import was valued at 6529 rupees ($102 by today’s exchange rates).
We still have no clue in regards to when the J2 will hit the shelves proper but we’ll relay that information to you once it’s available.
