Red alert: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is available for INR 9999 at Airtel stores
Airtel has began selling Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G at a fashion that would be said to be new for the Chinese phone manufacturer. According to advertisements posted online over the weekend, the Redmi Note 4G can be obtained offline at Airtel stores across India. Xiaomi is more popularly known for flash sales on Flipkart and other e-commerce sites than selling products offline.
“The Airtel-Xiaomi collaboration will let users buy Redmi Note 4G handset at Rs. 9,999 from 133 Airtel stores across six cities – Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Kolkata.”
“Users will be able to book the handset from Airtel’s dedicated Mi page and select their preferred Airtel store in the aforementioned cities where they wish to pick up the device.” Airtel says the sales will commence on Friday 9th January 2015 and bookings will be done at airtel.in/mi/
For the records, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is a 5.5″ phablet with HD resolution. The smartphone features a 13MP camera, 2GB of RAM and Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 3100mAh battery.
