Report: Xiaomi Mi Max sold 1.5 million units in 2 months
Xiaomi is really taking over the market by a storm and the Chinese OEM seems to just be waxing stronger in their bid to exert some major dominance on phone dealings in the country and continent. With the production of their Xiaomi Mi Max phablet, the nice specifications of the 6.4 inches’ device had already touted it to be a great sale but as revealed by analysis now, even Xiaomi would not have projected this kind of sales for their device.
Although the reports of the actually sold unit or other sales information has not been released by the company as at the time of writing, an analyst has taken it upon themselves to find how much of this phablet’s units was shipped in the past two months and the number stood at a record 1.5 million.
Given the fact that Xiaomi handles most of its shipping orders through the official website, it can be understood that this shipping also translates to sales within that period. Therefore, it is safe to say the Chinese manufacturer sold about 1.5 million units of the MI Max in just two months.
What makes this figure even more exciting is that phablets do not usually do this good in the market and compared the figures of other manufacturers, they could just manage a sale of 300,000 units at the most, all year round.
