Reports indicate that Samsung is in the works over a Galaxy J7 Prime
There is some chatter that is going on between industry sources out of Vietnam right now to suggest that Samsung is in the works over another smartphone, and the naming could be Galaxy J7 Prime. If memory serves us well, we would remember that there is already a Samsung Galaxy J7 in the market and we even got to see a 2016 refresh of this smartphone. However, this new one has been said to be a standalone device and has not been made to compete with other members of the family.
From the seen images, the exterior of the device is very beautiful with its 2.5D edges on the front glass and a 5.5 inches of screen real estate to consider. As for the remaining specifications, rumours have said that it would come with 3GB of RAM and the internal storage space would be 32GB.
As regards the CPU, this one would tear a sheet from the last year’s J7’s books and use either the QUALCOMM snapdragon 615 or go the way of its manufacturer and pick the Exynos 7870 from their nice arrangement of chipsets.
Don’t be deceived by the impressive specifications as this offering still remains a mid-range nonetheless and to keep its lights on, there would be a 3300mAh battery to power all features, including the 13MP/5MP camera units. Even though we don’t have a release date, Samsung has reportedly said that they would keep the price of this one competitive also.
