Rogers updates its upgrade list, adds Sony Xperia X Performance and others to Nougat likelies
For those in Canada, you could have noticed that one of the carriers in the country have updated their program schedule for device OS upgrades and that has included a new device on the list of those that would be pushed to the latest Android software – the Nougat 7.0. A quick look at the Rogers website would show you that tis carrier has now included the Sony Xperia X Performance in their list of devices to be bumped to this latest platform and although there is no news as to the exact date, the users of this unit have been asked to expect it sometimes in the February of next year.
Alongside the update would also be the VoLTE update that we have started to see roll out to some Xperia units and alongside this device, others that have also been certified for the nougat are the likes of the HTC One M9, LG G5 and Moto Z sets of devices.
Speaking of the Xperia X Performance, the unlocked units of this device both in the US and international markets have started to get their own Nougat bump.
