Rumors: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to really feature curved screen
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Samsung galaxy note 7 before its release date and even though a new barrage of photos has surfaced to give credence to the flatness of the device, it is believed (according to new rumours that have surfaced) that these flat ones would just remain as prototypes and there would be another one with a curved screen technology which would go on for sale. The back of the device seen is flat and if we recall well, the Samsung Galaxy S7 also had a flat back panel and used the curve screen on the front.
For the curved variant of the Galaxy Note 7, there are expectations that it would be making use of the USB Type C cable and an extra sensor above the screen touted to be the much talked about iris scanner that we are waiting for. On the curved galaxy note 7, the screen is now set at 5.7 inches as against the initial 5.8 inches that was reported and the TouchWiz would be introduced on top of the Marshmallow. We would have loved to see the Nougat here, but then, an update might just be around the corner.
Equipped with a snapdragon 820 chipset, there is a 4GB RAM on board with a 6GB variant also coming out soon and in all, crowned by a combination of 12MP back camera and 5MP front shooter.
