Rumour: Apple to discontinue 16GB variants in iPhone 7
After the release of the very beautiful and much successful iPhone 6 device, a lot of iPhone users, enthusiasts and lovers have gone on to start looking forward to what Apple would do with the next device – the iPhone 7.
The excitement surrounding this new model came very fast after the iPhone 6 hit the market with fan clubs even going on to make their own designs of what they feel the device would look like. Well, we can now do away with some guesswork as a Wall Street Journal report has claimed that on the iPhone 7, the least storage capacity you would have on board is 32GB. This means that gone are the days when Apple would use 16Gb variants as the phone base.
This move would largely be, on the part of apple, listening to the voice of customers who have expressed their dissatisfaction to the rather low storage facility on-board, especially with iPhones not coming with a slot for additional storage anymore.
Rumours have claimed that the iPhone 7 would have some physical similarities to the iPhone 6 and that the use of the headphone jack would not be discontinued. Also, lovers of the space grey colour may have to opt for another colour variant – the deep blue – which rumours are confirming to be in the works.
After all said and done, these are still rumours and we can only keep our fingers crossed.
