Samsung extends phone exchange courtesy to second-hand users of the Galaxy Note 7
Samsung is really looking to clean up the market on the issue of their Galaxy Note 7 device because that is the only reason that we can make up for their new plan on the issue of the recall of the device.
During the time when the whole saga of explosions began, a number of people had already chosen to either sell their own units or even, go for swap deals on it and that has left some people stranded with second hand smartphones that they can’t lay legal claim to and go exchange from the original buyer.
Samsung has however stated that should you fall in the category of people that have a second hand Galaxy Note 7, they would be exchanging it for you and all you need do is call 1-844-265-6197. Calling Samsung directly at thus number, you can then choose to have your device exchanged for either the Galaxy S7 or the Edge variant of the same smartphone.
Whether we are not sure of the inclusion of used phones in this plan, the risk of any Note 7 causing fires again now cold push them to make provisions for this too.
