Samsung to float only curved edge screen variant of Samsung Galaxy S7?
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been in the rumor mill so long, we can’t wait to have this device already. With the juicy specifications flying all around, rumored release date so near we can almost feel the silkiness of the device beneath our hands and the pictures we’ve seen of the device so far, all we can do it bite our fingers anxiously and wait. But while waiting, something’s come up.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has now been rumored to come with only the curved edge screen by new sources. This means that the phone’s variants won’t be based on curve screen technology or regular screen technology as both all variants would be coming with a curved edge screen, according to the source.
This report is courtesy of a Vietnam-based tech website with alleged ties with those with knowledge of the matter, and if this is anything to go by, we might be looking at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge+ likewise (and no regular Samsung Galaxy S7). This could be true due to the fact that the cost of production of the curved edge screen has reduced from Samsung but still, the news should be taken with a pinch of salt.
More would come on the Samsung S7 although we don’t know when so, stay tuned!
