Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) shows up on GeekBench, shows 16MP front snapper
The 2017 refresh for the Samsung Galaxy A7has already been spotted on GeekBench and with this, we have seen an insight into a lot of key specs that it would be offering to us upon launch.
From the listing, we know that the smartphone would use an octa core processor and clock at a frequency of 1.8GHz, all under a 5.5 inch of screen that pairs its 3GB RAM with an internal storage space of 32GB out of the box, it is sure that this smartphone would run the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
However, it is shown from the listing that the major selling point for this device would be its front camera with the selfie snapper being set at 16MP while the rear unit doesn’t go much further or lower either, still being 16MP unit likewise. While it is not possible to rule out the possibility of there being errors on benchmark tests, we have not seen that on GFXBench and we have reason to believe this one.
If true, this would be a massive upgrade over the 5MP from last year but as of now, there is no pricing information available yet.
