Samsung Galaxy J7(2017) pops up on benchmarks again, outs specs
The Samsung Galaxy J7 is yet to be launched but it seems that this unit can do nothing to get itself to stay out of leaks. The 2017 refresh of this already existent model is the latest Samsung unit to be put through the throes of the GFXbench and we have even more specs to look forward to. This is coming after the same unit has been run through GeekBench sometimes in the past, and the featuring of the smaller Galaxy J3 (2017) on the same benchmark.
According to what we have from the benchmark tests, the Galaxy J7 (2017) would be a 5.5 inch device with a rather unimpressive 720p resolution. Under the hood is a Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset which has a maximum clock speed of 1.5GHz. Going further, we know that there is 2GB of RAM somewhere underneath all that buff and likewise, a 16GB internal storage space.
Going to the cameras, the Galaxy J7 2017 refresh is supposed to have an 8MP sensor on the back coupled to the 5MP selfie snapper on the front. Impressively, it is also said to run the Nougat 7.0 out of the box.
What is interesting now is that the same model of smartphone that was run through GeekBench earlier was running a QUALCOMM snapdragon 625 chipset instead, and this could mean that the handset is to be sold in two variants.
