Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to arrive to T-Mobile subscribers on 15th August
We know there is something like ‘Orange is the new Black’ and Samsung wants to spin one of such metaphors on us by bringing forward the availability of their latest phablet – the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. They had earlier announced that the smartphone would be getting into the hands of customers on the 19th of August but we have no idea what strings it is that the T-Mobile brand has pulled to get their own customers to start having it from 15th instead.
The smartphone got the 7 number instead of 6, if we are to go chronological, because Samsung is of the opinion that should they give it the latter number, people might tend towards thinking that the smartphone is one generation behind the S7 and S7 edge, thus damaging the reputation and sales potential. Given the various preorder records it has gone on to break now so much that it is not available for launch in some countries soon, we think that was a very smart move from them.
Asides from the iris scanning technology which has contributed to the hype around the Note 7, it also comes with IP68 certification this time to ensure that you can stay underwater (as deep as 5 feet) for up to a period of 30 minutes without having to worry about water damage.
