Samsung Galaxy S6 gets you ready for wall hugging
Samsung stirred the Internet crazily when it promoted the video where Apple iPhone users were labeled as “wall huggers” due to their phones’ non-removable battery (and time wasted on recharging batteries instead of swapping a charged one) and now, the company has made a dramatic hypocrisy as the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge both went official.
Samsung has severally pointed the removable battery as a feature a smartphone must have but on Sunday, the Korean phone maker ate it’s own words as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge came out with sealed batteries and to make things worse, no memory card slots in sight.
Tim Cook must be laughing in his office when the Samsung flagships were unveiled. Apple had somehow managed to hold on to customers (and even smash sales records) with non-removable-battery iPhones over the years, however, with Samsung ditching their own “selling point” in favor of Cook’s iPhones, the future doesn’t look all green for the Asian tech giant.
