Samsung Galaxy View is official: the bigger the better?
Samsung has been in the news and they don’t seem to want the spotlight off as the tech company has just taken wraps off what seems to be the biggest tablet out there, The Galaxy View proudly showing off its 18.4-inch display.
After being teased over the past few weeks, the giant monster which is pegged for individuals who consume huge chunk of media ranging from Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, HBO and other content providers is finally exposed.
Asides the hefty 18.4-inch display, the Android 5.1 Lollipop powered Galaxy View features a 1080×1920 Full HD resolution, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, an undisclosed 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage memory space expandable via microSD card. The Galaxy View as expected is far less portable than most other Tablet devices weighing 2.65kg, 452mm long and 276mm wide by 1.9mm deep.
The Galaxy View has a nano-SIM slot for LTE connectivity and a 5,700mAh battery promising up to 8hours of video play. Pricing and availability are yet to be officially announced by Samsung.
