Samsung perfects Nougat for Galaxy S7 flagships as support documents leak
Samsung has been looking to perfect the Nougat for both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge units, so much that they rolled out as much as 5 different beta generation modules for the new OS. Earlier in the day, it was revealed that Samsung were officially done with the beta programme for these flagship units and they have released a timeframe for the rollout of the final package to the high-end users – January.
If that is not enough proof that Samsung is doing all it can to make sure this update is perfect and runs smoothly, a new leak which looks to be the support documentation for both models have surfaced online, and they have all been updated to show the OS change that the OEM is planning. These support pages have been making their way to Samsung’s websites in different places and regions. From the original document, which was published in English, there were attached a few screenshots to walk the user through the new interface and make the new dessert serving a most pleasurable experience.
Notable changes to the UI and OS here include the adaptation of the actionable style lock screen to the S7 flagships and also, the change in name of the ‘Device Maintenance’ option. Asides from the obvious that it would not be called Smart Manager instead, there is absolutely no change in what it does.
