Samsung takes up a lot of space on list of bestselling 2016 devices so far
One of the things that Strategy Analytics is well known for is their compilation of android phones that have done very well as regards sales in the market and this is done bi-annually. Now and again, they are here with new figures for us to consider and for this year, we have some interesting data to report.
For one, the bestselling smartphone that was launched in the first half of this year 2016 is none other than Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge and this comes as a surprise because even though the price on it was a rather big value, it still managed to cater to some 13.3 million users. In second place is another Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy J2 and this one is just closely behind by having 13 million units sold.
Well, this one didn’t give us much shock as the former because it is a well affordable smartphone and was made for markets like that in India.
For the top three ranking, Samsung surely outclassed any other manufacturer and we would love to see them put in even more effort.
