Samsung unveils Samsung Galaxy Wide ahead of Samsung Unpacked
Samsung, the south Korean phone manufacturer, never cease to amaze with the ease with which they create and launch new devices, even behind the launch of another one. With a lot of Samsung lovers already looking forward to the Samsung Unpacked event which has been slated for the 2nd of August because of the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (expected to be the cream and highlight of the day), the Asian OEM has announced another device to still keep their mid-range customers happy for now and it is named the Samsung Galaxy Wide.
Launched in their home country, the Samsung Galaxy Wide has a 5.5-inch screen under which is a QUALCOMM snapdragon 410 processor, clocked on a CPU that runs at a frequency of 1.2Ghz.
The 2GB RAM is effectively coupled with a 16GB internal memory space with the option of expansion as far up as 128GB with the external storage slot on board. The device is not lacking in the camera section also with a 13Mp shooter on its back and a front 5MP camera. Running on the latest android marshmallow 6.0, the device would be powered by a battery of capacity 3000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Wide is believed to be a transformation of the Samsung Galaxy on7 model and would be sold for the equivalent of $276 in the south Korean market.
