Some Google Nexus 6P US shipments delayed due to “strong demands”
The Huawei-designed Nexus 6P device is too hot an order for Google to fully handle, it seems. Some customers who have pre-ordered the Nexus 6P device are already almost getting it as its still en route but Google has taken time out to inform a select others that they would have to wait a bit longer, stretching into November, before shipping on their own orders start.
This is reportedly due to the fact that the Google distribution unit does not have enough Nexus 6P units to lease into the public right now and as such, the supply process has been stunted. Google is yet to make available information on what color options aren’t available now or the memory variants of the device that has stopped shipping, but Google is offering a $25 refund to those customers that got this mail as a way of compensating for their inconveniences.
The Nexus 6P can be pre-ordered not only from the Google Store but from Huawei’s website likewise. The only downside is that Huawei has announced that it wouldn’t commence the shipping of its own units until late in November which means that for timely delivery, you need to head over to the Google Store for now.
