Sony planning update to fix QuadRooter issues
QuadRooter is the biggest exploit to hit the android platforms in recent times and even though it is not a big thing to most people, it has no doubt gotten a lot of people worried on what might happen to their smartphones or what data can be leaked to hackers should they be exploited through this.
It has been said that this hack can only be done on such android smartphones that use the QUALCOMM snapdragon processors under the hood only and that accounts for about 65% and more of smartphones out there right now but this has not put the mind of people using other processors at rest. For this reason, manufacturers are making sure that they release patches to counter the act of hackers and one of the first is Sony who have recently announced an update in the works to fix this.
Sony has now given a hint into what they are doing and they are planning this update to come as part of their regular device maintenance updates. Sony lovers, this is the best tie to be on the lookout because the next one might just be curing the QuadRooter glitch.
