Sony rolls out new update to the Xperia XA units, includes support for X-Reality
In a bid to improve the kind of user experience that users can get from the Android platform, Sony launched its Concept for Android programme not so long ago, and they have done all they can to make sure that they provide support for this platform. In a new bid to ensure that they don’t leave their users stranded, the Japanese OEM has started to roll out a new update to a select few of its units, and this update is coming in as version number 38.3.11.A.0.54.
Looking at the changes this update brings, it adds support for a number of things, the most notable being the X-Reality for videos.
Likewise, the update fixes the issue of adaptive brightness and addresses a bug that was found in Low Battery Mode for the handset. For those that love their VoLTE so much, you can now keep enjoying this feature on your handset too and to round things off, there is the security update for the month of March in there.
Lest we leave you all on the Sony line happy, this update is rolling out to the users of the Xperia X.
