Specs of the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 leaks via benchmark test
We have had the flagship Huawei Mate 8 device around for a while now and we have no doubt loved everything about this smartphone. Not only did we love it, but it did get a good reception from the market too because it enjoyed some good sales across markets and platforms. Hoping to bank on this success, the smartphone maker has been linked with some rumours in the past which suggests that we would be having a Huawei Mate 9 and it might be as soon as September during the IFA event scheduled by the company.
While we may not have a good say as to the date of launch of this undoubtedly next flagship, we do have some specs to play with now as the smartphone recently visited a benchmark application and some of the manufacturer’s tactics leaked.
For one, the 5.9 inches’ smartphone would have its display set at 1080p resolution and run on an octa core processor of the build HiSilicon Hi3660. The Huawei P9 series are all powered by the locally made Kirin processors too and this code suggests that the Mate 9 would be making use of the latest.
Going further, the device would couple 4GB of RAM to a 64GB internal storage space and in the end, have a rear camera of 20MP and a front shooter set at 12MP.
From what we have seen so far, the device promises to be a powerhouse and the launch would be most welcome at this stage.
